Mr. Chunk the Tummy Sleeper
We are done with all of our vacations and Tiago and I are starting to get a routine. The kid likes to sleep on his stomach. who knew?

Ben gave the kids a summer challenge to dribble the soccer ball around the perimeter of the house 30 times a day and if they did 30 days they would earn a reward. The kids were diligent and did make their goal! They whined and complained a good deal but I think they’re better for it. For their reward Ben took them to the outdoor theater to see the Minion Movie.
I chose to stay home with Millie and Tiago. Millie always enjoys being the only one home and getting the extra attention.
The Weber County Demolition Derby!
We barely fit in our annual Demolition Derby this year. We went up to the Weber County Fairgrounds in Ogden. We met up with the Thals and had a great night.
We brought the baby and the three big kids.
The Whole Crew
We went down and looked at the cars at the end of the night.
Car #80 was our favorite.
And Erika won our competition. The Thal family is killing us in winning. Next year we are bringing as much of our family as we can.
This 3 year old can be pretty fun. He got to go to the library and the cupcake shop for his dad night! He is getting so grown up. He loves to pose for the camera. He loves to play with Rosie and the big kids. The kid lives on pop tarts. HE’S PRETTY CUTE.
Tiago was given a name and a blessing at church on Sunday August 2nd! It’s always wonderful to hear the blessings and know that they are on the records of the church.
Ben blessed him and His Dad, Pete, Matt, Udine, Joel, Sean, and Bishop Chipman stood in the circle.
The same crew with their families and Emily and Kelsey came over that evening for some dessert.
I love the gospel plan. I love seeing life events and knowing that our children are on the right path to return to their Father in Heaven.
back on August 1st was Tiago’s 2 month mark. We spent the day in the car so no amazing pictures from that day. The little man is getting chubby. He is super cute but not a great sleeper and has not figured out the art of chill time..
14 pounds 12 ounces
We celebrated Christy, Joel, Megan and Kelsey all being born in July.
Josh brought everything for us to do a live draft!
And these pictures are at the beginning of the treasure hunt. They don’t do justice to the hopping and skipping, backward walking, slow motion that was going on but thats what you get when the photographer has a nursing baby.
One of our other main activities was to drive to Mehrtzen Creek. We went on Tuesday and Friday. It is a creek with a great swimming hole and a rock that we could slide down or jump from and a rope swing. We had a lot of fun just hanging out and watching each other swim and watching the kids explore.
Down at the River…
Maddy, Ella, Cali, Scar, and Lilly
Mike, Jaydn, Packer, Payton, Carter, and Benji
The Older Generation 🙂
Rose and Ray and Cedar and Kinley and Bubs all played in this part of the creek for hours!
My mom and Dad always get in! I hope I’m still that fun when I’m older. They don’t just jump in because we make them – they are sometimes the first ones in and they enjoy it.
Sean and Brady showing off
Jaydn and Benji doing a train
The 2nd time there we diverted the water so that we had a longer faster slide…
The kids loved these huge leaves… Cali and Brinlee 🙂
Ray and Thomas were down at the swimming hole exploring and playing and just having a blast together:
The big boys stuck together. Braden, Bryce, and Camden took turns entertaining them.
Really I don’t remember what this was called but … Kelsey’s activity was to spit some sticky bitter tasting balls at each other through big smoothie straws. Luckily Tiago was hungry right at war time so I sat and watched everyone get attacked and injured and messy. They had a blast 🙂
