    Temple Wedding

Sean and Jana are married! 1:00 on Saturday November 12th! I am really happy for them and from my standpoint it was PERFECT. We had so much fun and they were ShInInG all day. The sealing was performed by President Papa and it was wonderful. A room full of family is amazing.

    Ryan, Mary, and Annie

We got to go watch Ryan and Mary be sealed in the Sacramento temple! It was just over a year after their September wedding in 2015. Friday November 11:

    img_20161111_154740 img_20161111_154845

After Ryan and Mary were sealed they brought in their kids and the kids got to watch as Annie was sealed to Ryan and Mary!! It was really special to be there and be surrounded by LOVE in the Lord’s house. These covenants are real and powerful and sacred and I WANT TO BE BETTER.

that evening the boys all took Sean out for 1 more night of brotherly fun 🙂

    Presidential Election 2016

    Donald Trump v. Hilary Clinton

bluhh. not even blahh – bluhh!

We voted even though we knew we weren’t going to love the outcome. I personally would rather have trump than Hilary but I am a little nervous.  Not as nervous and upset as the crazy protesters and flag burners!

    img_20161108_100903 img_20161108_075256 img24035878

I am disappointed in our presidential candidates and that we came down to those 2 options out of all of the qualified people BUT I am grateful for our country and believe that the future is bright. We console ourselves knowing that the most important work is within our own homes. And I am surrounded by good, amazing, kind people every day.

November News: This month is flying by… we’ve had a few lazy days at home and school and work and then a quick trip to CA.

Mostly we just hung out and enjoyed being together. We chatted and played games. We colored and chatted some more. We planned for Christmas and celebrated Pete’s birth. And the kids just played and played. It was a fun weekend away from home and soccer and with people we love.

    Curiosity Museum

Once in a while Erica makes me leave the house and take the kids somewhere fun: We went to the Curiosity Museum at Thanksgiving Point. The kids loved it. We didn’t have time to do everything before we had to hurry back for kindergarten.

    Soccer Fall 2016

I love this soccer family. Soccer dominates our spring and fall but we all enjoy it. We had practices Monday through Wednesdays and then games all day Saturday, literally 8am-5pm. Benji played on an older team this year with 12 and 13 year olds and still with a lot of his old team. Packer still loves playing on the same team as Luca. Cali got to play with goalies and with Mia, Anna, and Claira with Uncle Matt helping coach. Rose got to play with Ellie and Gentry this year. And Ray ended up being with our neighbors Noah and Ivy. They will stay with these same teams in the Spring. Ben loves coaching these kids and these kids love Ben as a coach!

yes, i am running behind on my blog updates but… not toooo far behind.

    img_20160930_092748

Rose drew a picture of Aunt Kelsey who recently moved into our basement. Rose is a good little 6 yr old artist.

This is another Rose drawing: the girl loves kindergarten.

    img_20161025_113313

Rose has mastered the little bike!

Tiago got his finger in the door. There was lots of blood and then lots of trying to keep it clean long enough for it to heal.

    img_20161026_104921 img_20161026_140958

More Tiago and Quincy! He just loves to watch her and squeeze her.

    img_20161027_111758 img_20161027_111801

Ben and I went to watch Carter vs. Diego and Cody in flag football!

    img_20161027_213047

Tiago has discovered the table. He is ALWAYS sitting in the table getting into anything we leave out. He also loves the kids cupboard and the pantry. 9 times out of 10 he will come out of the pantry asking for Cheetohs.

    img_20161028_102449

We are still potty training. She knows how, now we have to over come the laziness factor and learn how to hold it just long enough to find a restroom.

    img_20161028_102815

We stayed home for fall break this year and we played at the house one of the days: board games, Cali made a pretend Zoo. And the weather has been amazingly warm and dry for this time of year. October is Over.

    Crazy Halloween Weekend

The days leading up to Halloween were BUSY. We had final soccer practices and games, Grandpa Becker turned 90, pumpkin carving and costume finalizing, and executing the Great Pumpkin Party!

We carved our pumpkins on Friday night! I carved the owl earlier in the day for Grandpa Beckers birthday. The kids all picked what they wanted to carve and we jumped right in. This was the first year that Benji, Packer, Cali and Rose did a lot of the work by themselves. I actually went to a movie with my sisters and LaNell and they finished while I was gone!

    img_20161028_113116 img_20161028_185804 img_20161028_185806 img_20161028_185822 img_20161028_185947

We finished our soccer season on Saturday! Ray scored his usual 4 goals since he is 4 years old. I had to miss Rose’s game again. Cali got another goal! I missed Packers game 🙁 and Benji had some close chances but didn’t score this time. And now our Saturdays are free! – except wrestling tournaments have already started…

    img_20161029_093457      img_20161029_100523 img_20161029_103705 img_20161029_112748 img_20161029_112757 img_20161029_113236 img_20161029_143600 img_20161029_161927

Saturday between soccer games we went to Grandpa Becker’s 90th Birthday Party!! Mom and Dad planned a great party! They had a program, kids sang, Ben made a video, and we visited with aunt, Uncle, and cousins. Grandpa and Grandma were thrilled with the attention from all of their friends and family.

    img_20161029_141433 img_20161029_143058 img_20161029_143901 img_20161029_150142 img_20161029_150601 img_20161029_150639 img_20161029_151553 img_20161029_151707 img_20161029_152849

And that same Saturday night – we had our PUMPKIN PARTY! We had another good turnout – we switched the movie to the garden area which was wonderful! It was a warm night with a little wind. We did Lego I Spy, and a raffle. We watched the Great Pumpkin and drank hot chocolate and ate popcorn and visited with good friends. The Family stayed and watched Hocus Pocus!

    img_20161029_193841 img_20161029_193903 img_20161029_193908 img_20161029_230301

On Sunday: we spend the mornings in my bedroom and bathroom getting ready for late church. Ben is usually in the kitchen prepping dinner 🙂 I still love that!. This Sunday Erica and Than invited us over for dinner and to celebrate Than’s birthday. The food was delicious and it was fun to spend time with our “other” family.

    img_20161030_085151 img_20161030_175654

And then it was Halloween! which I already posted. But back in California – BRADY graduated from the Academy!!

    This is our Halloween 2016!

we had a fun carnival church party on Tuesday night!

at 2:00 we drove to Ben’s NEW work building and trick or treated at the office:

    img_20161031_143826 img_20161031_150206

We went to Grandma and Grandpa’s house after the office and chilled for an hour with them:

    Popeye and his arcade!

    img_20161031_181209 popeye

We went to the hot dog and cider party at the Craguns and then started Trick or Treating from 6-8:00. Kelsey and LaNell kept me company at home and helped answer the door. Then we went over to Pete’s house for Hot Chocolate and cousin time!

    img_20161031_203306 img_20161031_204848 img_20161031_204851

We came home and crashed! (and I totally failed and didn’t take pictures of the 3 youngest – luckily they are in the group pictures)
