    Memorial Day Camping Trip!

We headed out Friday at 1:00 to drive past Dushene to Yellowpine Campground. We were loaded and ready for some FUN.

    Setting up camp:

The guys made a run for firewood which was great cause we had a LOT of fire.

All of us Utah Robertsons were up there camping! Sean and Jana came just for Saturday. We had a blast and just loved being outside and being together.

A hike through camp to the river!

Our campsite was really windy so we spent Saturday night over at the other campground.

Sunday morning adventure: We headed out to find a dirt road that led to a lake. We didn’t dare drive on that road so we found another road to explore: We explored the tree’s and river and had a good time.

The road there was NOT fun. It was narrow and bumpy and my passenger van is not a 4 wheeling machine but we made it. Barely. Safely. Against my will.

We also got to watch Brady test his skills crossing the river on a cable:

And we got some great group pictures!

Back at Camp – We had a little church and then it was our turn to make dinner and then games by camp fire until super late!

Monday we had one more delicious breakfast and then cleaned up camp and loaded up to go home.

Goodbye Yellowpine. Goodbye family. goodbye smoke and wind. We’ll be back.

We missed a lot of things during quarantine and we missed spending time with family! I went up to Ogden for a Saturday and spent all day with these three sisters! 13 hours of non stop fun!

We played a couple hours of spike ball at the park. Then a couple hours of Starfarers with a Gourmet Grilled Cheese lunch break. Then we played a couple of hours of Pickleball followed by another 2 hours of Starfarers. That put us at 9pm and we needed to Grill some dinner and enjoy some campfire befor driving home at 11pm. I loved spending the day with them!

And the kids had a great day with their dad!

    EASTER Sunday

we woke up to CHOCOLLATE BUNNIES HIDING EVERYWHERE and took an hour or two searching for our baskets! they were all over the house this year – all levels and all very well hidden.

We had our at home church! It is such a good thing. I really feel the spirit each week and I love having a bigger hand in my children’s testimonies and spiritual growth. I enjoy hearing Ben’s testimony and I love that we can worship like this at home! Jesus REALLY LIVED AGAIN!!!

We had the Falabella’s over for Easter Dinner – Ham and potatoes, rolls, jello, the works! and then the Easter Egg Hunt!

It took a while to find ALL of the eggs and then we chilled and candy swapped until it got cold.

And then right before Bedtime, Joel and Megan and the kids came for a driveby visit! It was so good to see some family! I miss EVERYONE.

    Larry Anderson Funeral

On Monday March 9, we went to Uncle Larry’s funeral! He died from complications and infection after removing his stomach that had cancer.

It was a nice service – just didn’t seem right that he was gone though. Ben took care of the kids and let me be with family. Ben helped with the background music. I spent a lot of the day with Christy and Michael. Now we are just praying for this group of boys and Carol that have to do this life without Larry now 🙁

Ray got Baptized on Saturday March 7th at our PG Stake Center! 9am! Ray and Dad went over early to get ready …

It was relaxing and peaceful. So easy without babies adn diaper bags and …

We had lots of FAMILY come show there support!

He even had a few friends come – like Hawken and his Primary Teachers! Adam Harris conducted. Jamie played piano, Lalo lead the music, Grandma and Rose said prayers, Packer and Joel gave talks, Benji and Cali were the witnesses. Ben did the baptism and confirmation. It was perfect.

We had brunch at the house right after! Muffins and Pancakes and Fruit and Drinks! It was so fun having all of the family come and play! Ray said he was so happy and he had a great day. He was beaming all day and was pretty excited to be the reason for the party.
