    Tara

Tara Shepherd Robertson passed away on the 8th of November. There’s no fun, blog worthy way to say that…

I was able to go to the funeral on Monday the 14th. It’s unbelievable and heart breaking that she is gone. I feel so bad for her girls 🙁 Really there are no words. Tara had a big heart and loved to have fun. She had a great laugh and a great smile. Unfortunately her addictions controlled her for the last several years and she was taken way too early. Lots of nice memories were shared at the funeral and it was good to remember her for the person she was and wanted to be and forget some of the blah and anger.

    Tara will be missed.

    Reception

Jana and Sean had a beautiful reception. It was in Jana’s backyard in Galt, CA. We all helped set up and Mom and Dad’s friends ran the kitchen all night! We visited and made sure kids didn’t fall in the pool. We ate yummy waffles and just enjoyed the atmosphere. We did our Sean Roast that was way to nice! We laughed at Brady and Reynolds jumping in the pool and then chased their car out of the driveway. We had everything taken down and cleaned up in less than an hour and crashed out at Tracie’s house for the night.

Sean and Jana are married! 1:00 on Saturday November 12th! I am really happy for them and from my standpoint it was PERFECT. We had so much fun and they were ShInInG all day. The sealing was performed by President Papa and it was wonderful. A room full of family is amazing.

    Ryan, Mary, and Annie

We got to go watch Ryan and Mary be sealed in the Sacramento temple! It was just over a year after their September wedding in 2015. Friday November 11:

After Ryan and Mary were sealed they brought in their kids and the kids got to watch as Annie was sealed to Ryan and Mary!! It was really special to be there and be surrounded by LOVE in the Lord’s house. These covenants are real and powerful and sacred and I WANT TO BE BETTER.

that evening the boys all took Sean out for 1 more night of brotherly fun 🙂

    Donald Trump v. Hilary Clinton

bluhh. not even blahh – bluhh!

We voted even though we knew we weren’t going to love the outcome. I personally would rather have trump than Hilary but I am a little nervous.  Not as nervous and upset as the crazy protesters and flag burners!

I am disappointed in our presidential candidates and that we came down to those 2 options out of all of the qualified people BUT I am grateful for our country and believe that the future is bright. We console ourselves knowing that the most important work is within our own homes. And I am surrounded by good, amazing, kind people every day.

Rose got picked to blow up her teachers picture! She did it all by herself – the girl loves to color!

Cali LOVES Miss Leavitt – Like she just adores her teacher. It is so sweet. She found out it was her birthday and I wasn’t really caring but she went in and made her a card and found some Oreos and took her a present 🙂
