So Tommi takes care of an old guy for her job… and they decided they should be responsible and not come for Robertson week. They did come for Tuesday gifts and wedding but didn’t stay for food or take off their masks.

So us ladies went up to Ogden to get some more time with Shannon and Tommi. We wore our masks to be careful!

We checked out Shannons house and then played some Nertz and Otrio and then when Tommi got home they showed us all of their wedding prep and dresses!

Then we headed out to get some food. We were heading to a burger place until Shannon saw Worlds Best Corndog Truck and we had to get some! Then we topped that off with Kelseys favoite Boba Drinks:

Girls Day out was a Success!

We headed over to the wedding just before 3:00! Brady came out and then Sams dad walked her down to the center. Casey Calloway performed the wedding ceremony. He did a great job. About 10-15 minutes and Millie handed Brady the rings and THEY ARE OFFICIAL! They were all smiles and so were all of us!

After that we took a bunch of pictures! Caleb did a great job taking them.

And then into the basement for a luncheon! Amanda, Pete, Jamie, Michelle, Mia and Julia were all there setting up and serving and had everything ready for us!! They were so great. Even blankets and coats to keep us warm!

We visited and CONGRATULATED and in my eyes it was perfect. Sam had her parents and sister there. Brady had all of us and then cousin Jer, JG, Anthony and Caleb Brown, Derek Meyer and Cway and Nicole. Brady and Sam left around 5:30 or 6 and headed home to Boise – We all pitched in to send them to Mexico for their honeymoon the next morning!

The rest of us cleaned up and headed home. Eggers headed ALL the way home. The rest of us came back and crashed at our place.

Tuesday was our Gift Exchange! We had a hard start time of 9:30 am! Josh and Mal left St. George at 5am so they could be there. John and Tracie came from Johns parents. Joel – woke up sick! and so he just dropped off gifts. Shannon and Tommi rolled in right on time. Sean and Jana too. Kevin and Liz joined zoom from their house.

Mom and Dad started – they gave all of us Robertson shirts!! They gave each of the kids a toy and then each of the girls a basket full of fun: lotion, scrunchies, m and m’s, a shirt, hymn book – each of us got similar but different. And then they did a white elephant type for all the boys! They opened and stole and we had a blast! We gave mom a new iphone 12 mini and we gave Dad a new recliner chair for their new house. Then we had the cousins do their gift exchange!

And then we did the Sibling gift exchange. Some peeps always go a little crazy on these gifts. And we always have some good gifts and some good laughs.

Some of the gifts: Joel and Megan gave Ben and Kevin “Hale Pong” – a new ping pong game that they made up and made! Jana got me a sweatsuit and pens. Tracie gave Ryan a “Gotta Trust Someone” Rook sweatshirt, Michael knit a sweater for Jana, Rob gave brady a bunch of fun decor, Christy gave Kelsey a sweatsuit, Ryan gave Rob Cabin Games, Joel got the Taco Bell Sweater, I got Tommi a speaker and Otrio, Ben gave tracie country CDs and a fun farm shirt. Kel and Brady did puzzles for Christy and Mal. Josh got something Kings and so did John… and that’s all I can remember right now! (Thats what happens in 3 weeks) And Michael won the wrenches and used them to open all future gifts!

We finished at the perfect time to grab a snack and get ourselves and the kids ready for the wedding. The wedding was at 3:00 in Pete and Amanda’s backyard!

Monday morning Ben headed to the grocery store to get the stuff for some stew for the wedding. Christy and I also headed out to get groceries for more soups and salads. Dad and Mom and Brady went out to Breakfast with Sam and her parents! Then Dad was in charge of getting Rolls. Mom made soups and salads and Christy made some and Megan. Then Kelsey, Shae, Christy and I went out to get Sam a Bridal shower gift from all of the Robertson crew. Everyone else hung out at the house and then that afternoon a bunch of us went over to Pete and Amandas to see the wedding venue and make sure that we were all set for the Tuesday Wedding! We git the tables and chairs and met Sams parents! Then Ryan got Pizza for the kids and the rest of us headed out to Costa Vida – Ben and I sat and chatted with Brady and Cway.

    12/26 – 12/27

We spent the day after Christmas cleaning up and putting away toys and getting the house ready for Robertson Christmas. Mom, Dad, Michael and Kelsey drove out on Saturday the 26th. Ryan and his girls also came on Saturday. Everyone got in late but we still played a few games.

Then on Sunday the Eggers headed this way! The only problem was that Ryan went to bed a little exhausted and woke up feeling sick! Jaydn had tested positive for Covid on Wednesday… so we had Ryan go get a rapid test so that we would know if we should still have everyone come or still do the wedding! He got a test and it was NeGaTiVe – so the PARTY WAS STILL ON!

We had some home church and played games and the Eggers got here that night. Let the FUN BEGIN!

    Christmas Day Night

The Falabellas invited us over for Christmas Dinner. It was super yummy and so nice of them to host. We had a great Christmas day. We learned some new games and did legos and LOL and Tiago tried to scare everyone with his Jack in the BoX. The girls sang us a song as their present to us 🙂

It was weird not to pack our bags and load the van for the California trip! SUPER weird actually.

We did spend a little time cleaning up – but mostly we just enjoyed the day!!
