    Soccer Tryouts

    The week of soccer tryouts is my worst. I had to detach myself and just trust that everything will work out and the teams will be made and life will go on. They run around and wear themselves out and try to show up for all the coaches and all the teams. . .

    Tiago had his team – didn’t make the first team but made the second easily. He is a star out there and LOVES the game – Surf with Jake McKay.

    Millie and I decided to do our Rec team one more season 🙂

    Ray still has his AA team with Ben which has been wonderful. We tried to go Club but that didn’t happen so 1 more year.

    Rose went to all of the tryouts but Surf ended up not having her team from last year 🙁 Avalanche and La Roca gave her offers though. She chose La Roca with Ellie and Gentry. I think it will be a South A team.

    Cali also did all the tryouts. When it came down to it Brian didn’t offer her a spot on their Celtic team. He cut about 5 of them and kept a small roster. Cali was devestated cause she LOVES that team. She accepted a D1 offer with La Roca!

    So, we survived another year! We are all playing soccer and we will jump into this new season!

    High Adventure!

    Ben, Benji, and Packer went to High Adventure. June 7-10. They left on Wednesday and came back on Saturday. They all had fun just hanging out and playing and enjoying the outdoors and building friendships… Kanaraville Falls and Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort.

    Benji’s final high school show! He did a great job and the whole cast was some of his best friends! It was weird that they did it in the summer but… GREAT SHOW!

    Tiago’s BAPTISM!

    On Saturday the 3rd we were able to have Tiago’s baptism!!

    It was awesome! Adam Harris conducted. Ben baptized and Confirmed him. Udine gave a great talk and then Rose gave a great talk. All the family came and Camden surprised us! Our first time seeing him since the mission. We have the best family and the best church 🙂 Obviously the True Church, Christ’s Church 🙂 It was a Great Baptism Day!

    We headed back to the house to eat and party 🙂 Joel and Megan extended their trip to be here and then all the locals and Camden – We had a great day!

    Still celebrating Tiago – and preparing for his baptism, buying food, helping Rose with her talk, signing kids up for soccer and helping others decide what teams to be on, and we all went to see SPIDERMAN – across the spiderverse!

    Birthday Boy Tiago!

    Happy 1st Day of June to this guy! He is 8 years old and full of sass and fun and sports and love. We had to have the pool party with a pool cake – He is a creature of habit and was so excited about every little part as you can see in the pictures:

    He has an obsession with pool cake and ducks and soccer so the cake is… all of that combined 🙂

    Pool Party – Not as many cousins can come as we used to get AND he has a billion friends so we combined the friends and family and played hard all day!

    They played a ton of Nine Square! so cute and so fun. Megan brought her kids, Jana brought her kids, Emily brought her kids. All the party kids came. My kids all played hard.


    Rose and Cali had soccer tryouts in the afternoon and Tiago had a parent meeting for his new team in the evening. So I grabbed a bite to eat with my brothers 🙂 and then we did cake and ice cream and Spanking Train!

    We had such a fun and busy day celebrating Tiago. Happy Birthday Dude!
