    Fall

I’ve been looking at everyone’s amazing FALL pictures in the canyon so we went. After church I put the kids in the car and we drove up to Tibble Fork and back. (Benji was doing fast offerings)

When we came out of the canyon it was a LOOONg line to get in! all of Utah had the same plan as us.

    Saturday October 7th

We had another BUSY Saturday. Ben got up and followed a Donkey Kong lead that he had from Friday… He GOT IT and an ARCADE DART BOARD!

We spent the morning grabbing those and bringing them in. Benji got home from his campout to the sand dunes:

Then we had 4 soccer games. Rose didn’t have a game this day so it was cute to see her and Caitlin go get some passing in during their big brothers game:

After soccer we took the kids to ice cream for Rose scoring a goal! They LOVE Coldstone! and so do we so I guess that works. Then the kids stayed home for movie night while we went out for a late birthday dinner for me!! We grabbed Joel and Megan in Lehi and met up with Shannon and Tommi and Kelsey and Son in Salt Lake at Lucky 13 for the BEST burgers. They were pretty good burgers and we enjoyed our time out with the youngsters 🙂

    Work Party

Friday Night Work Party for the Family. We went to the SalesRabbit office for dinner and fun. We ate BBQ, met a few new work guys and watched Mens US soccer. Then we let the kids paint pumpkins and run around with other kids. Then I had to challenge the boss’s wife to Dr. Mario! We had a good battle going. Then we were about the only ones still there so we got to ride around on the hoverboards! Not a bad evening.

Cali played her last soccer game for this Season!

Coach Jenn? and Coach Randall. Lydia, Leila, Cali, Onna, Mia. London, Lexi, Lilly. Olivia wasn’t there.

Cali loved being with Mia and I loved carpool 🙂 Cali ended up playing a lot of left or right defender and a little forward. Mia played mostly left or right forward. Her last few games Cali seemed to be getting the hang of when to clear or dribble or pass. It was fun to watch them improve this Summer and Fall.

    October 2017 – what??

General Conference was on October 1st this year. Joel and Megan made us this delicious breakfast and we got to see Shan and Kel. Conference was pretty awesome. I love hearing from the General Authorities and Apostles of the church. President Monson was too sick to speak this time 🙁 And we got to celebrate Rose turning 7!

On Monday the 2nd we babysat Bennett and ran around doing soccer and then went to Dagny’s 1st birthday party!!

On Tuesday we enjoyed the weather! It has been a cold Fall so far so I am trying to soak in the sun when we can. These are pictures of my morning crew riding bikes and dribbling basketballs:

Rose still loves this backpack . She has stories every day about people wanting to touch it and write there names on it. I love that she loves it. It probably won’t last through all of grade school like Benji’s backpack did but this is worth it.

Packer found this quote while riding his scooter around at Ray’s soccer practice. He was excited to memorize it and share it for the thought of the day in his school class.

We had soccer games Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings this week! The kids had dun playing in the evening and Ben cancelled practices for the week so it all worked out.

On Thursday we had another nice day so we ate lunch in the front yard and played out there before Ray had to go to school:

On Friday I got a birthday present from my parents! And Ray finally did his homework for the week!

Tiago has been loving the clean toy room. he likes his paw patrols and his Duckies. He also threw a big fit after his bath because he wanted a pony tail like Millie… I normally wouldn’t fight him on it but we were going to Ben’s work party that night and I wasn’t wanting him to sport the Pony. O’well.

a good first week to a new month!

    Rose is 7

Rose turned 7 on Sunday the 1st!

Rose is happy and easy. She is always helping and playing with her siblings. she tries so hard at EVERYTHING she does. 7 is so big! and she is such a big little helper 🙂 Her birthday was early presents since we wanted to go to Conference Breakfast at Joel’s house. She wanted a pin toy, and a halloween dress. We got her that and a chapstick spinner, paint and a Mal costume.

We watched afternoon conference at home and then Ben made sausage Pasta for Rose’s birthday dinner. After dinner we had cake and ice cream and hung out as a family. It was fun to celebrate rose!

I felt bad that I just made her these Descendants cupcakes and not a fun cake. BUT it was busy and she did get a fun party and even though the frosting tasted a little peppery I don’t think she minded. Next year I’m pushing for a cousins party and fun cake 🙂

    Rose’s Birthday Party

Rose and I have 1 day in between our birthdays and this year that day was PARTY DAY! We watched General Conference all day and then we hurried over to the Hancocks house for a Descendants II party with lots of Rose and Gentry friends! There were lots of little 1st and 2nd grade school friends that came! and then the older girls – Claira, Cali, Camry, Mia and Anna dressed up and helped with Descendant makeovers! Packer and Luca chilled and helped me take pictures. Anyway, we partied from 5-8pm.

Rose and Gentry were so cute!

    Everyone singing and dancing:

    I’m an old lady!

In other words, I had ANOTHER Birthday! I am grateful that I was born but Birthdays are still not my favorite. I don’t love the attention but I love being with all the people I love.

My Kids (husband) showered me with gifts in the morning! It was a Friday so we got up early for school and presents:

I smoked the kids in some soccer with my new indoors and then sent them off to school 🙂

Then we opened the puzzle and got started! This year was a Disney movie collage with PLASTIC PIECES and had almost a stain glass look to it!

The littles helped me find edge pieces. Then Erica came over around 9:30 and Abbie came a little after that. Michelle came after lunch. I loved having puzzle helpers and good conversation. I just love spending my birthday at the kitchen table with lots of fam and friends 🙂

I continued to be spoiled throughout the day: queso, cookies, flowers, cupcake, a Nap from Tiago and PHONE CALLS from family! …

The big kids came home from school and helped a little. Then Ben came home and made us a fajita dinner that was delicious. After dinner we went to the Hancocks to hang out and watch BYU football.

Then LaNell and I had a soccer game at 9:55! and then we came home and finished the puzzle at 1:00am. It ended up being a pretty perfect day.
