Cali had a game Friday at Noon! We came down Thursday after school and got settled at Matt and Jamie’s Condo with them. Then Friday we took all the kids to watch Cali and Anna play!
And then we had to swim! I mean the kids had to swim. And try to play in the basement but there are lots of Covid rules. And we played a fun game of Volleyball.
That evening we went out to Nielsens Frozen Custard!
Saturday Morning the girls had an early game – and it was cold! After the game we hurried home to celebrate Ray’s birthday! Presents and then Bowling and then Pizza and cake and ice cream at night!
Tiago had so much fun trying to bug Matt and Jamie! He was making us all laugh
Of course some of the kids went swimming again after bowling! and Anna and Cali had a bunch of the soccer team over to play some games!
We finished that Birthday night with the best spanking train EVER!
Then we took it easy on Sunday and watched our stake conference and then we went on a drive and hike that afternoon. Jamie tricked us all into doing the Aspiration Trail:
Sunday was also VALENTINE’s DAY! Ben and I exchanged gifts that morning and then for dinner we made spaghetti and red jello and decorated the table! They watched a movie that night and I snuck away to say hi to Trent and Misty Kirby. I just dropped in on their extended family valentine party and had a wonderful chat with all of them. They are just great. Misty is always fun and she seemed to be doing so good.
Monday morning was Cali and Anna’s last soccer game. They won the first, lost the 2nd and then needed to win this last one with points but… it didn’t happen. We drove over and watched the end of PJs game after and then back to the condo.
We packed up and swam again! and then went to Nielsens on the way out of town. It was another super fun weekend away! Goodbye St. George!
One of Rosie’s christmas gifts was beads for bracelets – they have loved making them. Thanks Megan and Dagny.
Rose killed it on her book report about Venus. Packer made Baby Yoda!
And Cali has math homework e v e r y d a y !
Sunday Morning GIFT opening! Dress, slippers, jacket, scooter, Flipslide, curling iron, legos and friendship bracelet string.
I can’t believe this girl is 12! She is so grown up all of a sudden. She loves inspirational quotes and to do lists and singing and dancing and she’s really good at hockey and super dedicated to her soccer team. She is good at board games and school and church and – – we just love her!
Homemade pizza, Cake and Ice cream: chocolate extreme moose tracks to be exact. And spanking train!
Cali’s bday was on a Sunday this year so we had friends over the Friday Night before! We did a Christmas themed party. The girls played the Candy Cane Game, then knock the water bottles over.
They tried to make snowmen and did a hot chocolate bar!
We made some ornaments. We had Cake and Ice cream and opened presents. Then some time to just chill.
Millie has been doing so much better on her reading! She has improved so much. She still doesn’t love doing the 100 Lessons book but it is helping.
And the Girls put Christmas Lights up on their bed!!!
