Millie (and Tiago) and I had a blast at the splash pad in Geneva. We played for a couple of hours and just ran from one thing to the next. Millie was determined to do all of the hard things that she saw the other kids doing. She was also very determined to make a new friend.
I loved watching her do the zipline by herself and try to stand up on it and ride with a friend. She was good at taking turns with the other kids and helping Tiago follow her around. I love Millie’s fun personality always keeps me on my toes and I did have to threaten her at the end that it was TIME TO GO.
The New Descendants movie came out on August 2nd! Ben and I were gone so Kelsey came down to party with the kids! The girls made Kelsey a Decsendants Birthday Cake!! And they decorated downstairs and had movie quotes all over. They also had all of the Descendants Barbie’s out to play with. The Hancocks came over for the movie and they had a BLAST. The next day Kelsey stayed until we got home and went swimming with them.
at the Manila pond! Eating an apple. There were tears and Excitement!
Millie did the online preschool this year. She did not enjoy it. It was hard for her. But It was good for us to have a schedule and it was good for her to try and sit and focus. She and I went to the Graduation/Test on Tuesday morning and then out to Wendy’s to celebrate her hard work!!
Millie was so determined to swim. She has practiced and practiced and she can swim! She isn’t great at it but she is good at it. She can do the diving board and dive down and get the rockets and she just loves the water! She loves to flip and spin. She looks like she’s doing water gymnastics! Now I’ve got to teach her to put her face in and to side breath.
Millie finally went back to the eye Dr and he said that she is good to go. He doesn’t think she needs the glasses and she seems to be A OK. She never really wore the glasses and she was so young and she still gets CRAZY eye but not as much as she used to. She and I were both excited to not have to try and wear glasses again.
Millie loved Ms Janet and her new preschool friends! Ms Janet was so good to her and has so much patience!! Millie was the oldest in the class and liked being the boss. She was also very good at being big and letting the little kids get what they needed. We took Stockton to school every morning and Susan would bring them home. Their family is in the Hancock’s ward. Faye is in our ward so that friendship should last and Millie loves Faye. I’m excited for Millie to move on to Kindergarten. She will LOVE it!
Erica spoils these 2 kids like crazy! And she spoils me. I spent the morning out on the town and she took the kids to the park and to McDonalds!
Millie and her preschool had a fieldtrip to the BYU Bean Museum. Tiago and I decided to go with her. We had lots of fun looking at all of the animals and being silly with all of the kids.
