Millie can roll over! Just this week she has started rolling from her back to her stomach. She hasn’t figured out the tummy to back which my other kids always did first but… She always rolls to her tummy and then she is stuck.

I’m just glad she’s rolling because her tummy time has been very limited. I feel like she has a “Near Call” every time I leave her on the ground. One of her many siblings is always stepping way to close to her or falling on her.

Millie has been watching us eat for months. She follows the food and shows so much interest that I finally gave in and gave her some rice cereal. She enjoyed it but was pretty messy. And then she was up ALL night trying to figure out how to digest it. She couldn’t sleep and wanted to nurse the entire night. I ended up with a headache and lack of sleep. She finally went to the bathroom at 7am and has been back to her normal self. I usually wait until 9 months or more to start solids so… I think I’ll go back to waiting.

Millie plays with toys now! – I am pretty slow at offering toys and rattles and stuffed animals and… we have a bin of baby toys that have barely been used so I got them out and we are letting Millie play. She is still pretty limited but she has a good grasp and loves to put everything in her mouth.

I love this girls smile. She makes eye contact and just grins and giggles – it is beautiful.
I love when she is sleeping. And when she stretches her little arms. It is so peaceful. She loves her bed. When I lay her in bed she gives me her biggest smiles. She does scream when I leave but not for long before she puts herself to sleep. I love cuddling her in my bed when she wakes up during the night and her hands are icy cold. If she would let me wrap her she could avoid that but she gave up the swaddle last month and she likes to suck her thumb so it is hard to keep her hands warm.
I feel bad for her little chapped cheeks. It has been so cold and she has had a cold off and on all month. I don’t like that. I do like that she is always in sit up position when I go in to get her out of bed. She wants to sit up so badly.
I love when she grabs my finger and holds on tight. Her fist is just big enough to go around and she doesn’t want to let go. Also adorable when she grabs her blankies with that grip. Our Millie is growing so fast…

   

 

This Cute Baby is 4 months old!

She likes to yell. She is just discovering her voice and it is not a scream or a coo it is a yell.

She is already working her abs and squirming 180’s.

She weighed in at 14 pounds 12 ounces and officially fits our short and chubby mold.

She will eat as long and as much as you will let her!

She is super snuggly and watches mom like a hawk.

She just started loving the bumbo, not a swinger, wants to be where the action is.

She IS a thumb sucker.

3 months – just like that my new born is a big 3 month old baby girl:

Millie Marie is a good baby. She has just started cooing, giggling and smiling. She is always excited when someone talks to her. She is finally outgrowing her poopy stage – she was always poopy – you change her and she poops. I couldn’t keep up. When I wrap her well and with lots of warm blankets she can sleep for hours. We had her out in the cold in a snow suit and she fell asleep around 9pm and didn’t wake up until 6am , the snow suit might become her new jammies! 🙂 She has started to be pretty consistent from 11pm to 5 or 6 am. I can handle that. 3 months seems to be the magic age for our babies. Millie sometimes likes her paci and sometimes finds her thumb. She likes a bottle when offered. We love her little smile.
