MORE homeschool blah…

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays are pretty busy with school work all morning and into the early afternoon. These kids are good at home school though. I do get lots of chances to help but it is good. I have been escaping for afternoon walks with Michelle and Kristin. And I am loving having a more time and being home for family dinner!

    Bike to the Stake Center

Millie is LOVING riding bikes. Home school. Nicer weather. A reason to get out and see the neighbors… I told them if they got their school work done without whining then I’d take them.

I rode to the stake Center with Millie and Tiago. They were so fun because they just look for adventure. Millie was excited to be on Rosie’s big bike. Tiago was getting brave on his training wheels adn when they saw the grassy hill they HAD to try it!

And then they NEEDED to climb the trees!

Millie loves to go get lunch at the school. I tell her that a big kid has to help her. This day I went with the kids to pick up some books and things from their classrooms.

Asher and his sister like to ride by after they get their lunches hoping to say hi to Packer and Luca!

April 13th we hit the HOMESCHOOL again! I was pretty bummed about missing our spring break plans but we made the most of it.

That evening we sent the 4 oldest kids with Udine, Luca and Mia to camp at Willow Park in Lehi. They just did an over nighter but they loved being out and exploring. It was Cold. They came home early the next morning.

    EASTER Sunday

we woke up to CHOCOLLATE BUNNIES HIDING EVERYWHERE and took an hour or two searching for our baskets! they were all over the house this year – all levels and all very well hidden.

We had our at home church! It is such a good thing. I really feel the spirit each week and I love having a bigger hand in my children’s testimonies and spiritual growth. I enjoy hearing Ben’s testimony and I love that we can worship like this at home! Jesus REALLY LIVED AGAIN!!!

We had the Falabella’s over for Easter Dinner – Ham and potatoes, rolls, jello, the works! and then the Easter Egg Hunt!

It took a while to find ALL of the eggs and then we chilled and candy swapped until it got cold.

And then right before Bedtime, Joel and Megan and the kids came for a driveby visit! It was so good to see some family! I miss EVERYONE.

    Spring Break Friday

We had a CHALK the WALK with our neighborhood! We spent the entire morning coloring our driveway. Then we spent the afternoon chilling outside with neighbors and looking at everyone else’s driveways.

Falabella’s won the contest. Luca did some Pokemon. Mia did the beach and Lalo did Elsa!

Millie and Tiago had been begging to slipnslide so I finally gave in. It was COLD but they still had fun for about an hour.

That night we went to Wendy’s drive thru to break our fast. We ordered on line and then waited in a line of about 20 cars. The JCW line was halfway down the block. ALL of PG/Utah county were breaking our fast at the same time! It was actually pretty incredible. We all fasted for relief from Covid19. It was hard. It was a sacrifice but I believe it helped and I believe our kids were strengthened.
