Rose turned 9!

Rose Rose Rose you are 9 years old. Rose Rose Rose you don’t like to be told. Rose Rose Rose we celebrated and had lots of fun, you played and played until your special day was done.

We opened presents in the morning and then when I picked Millie up from school I made you come out and take a picture in front of the school. You played with all of your gifts after school and then went to Soccer Practice. I made your favorite Sausage Pasta for dinner and then we had cake and Ice Cream and the day was done!

I can’t believe you are already 9 years old! I would freeze you in time right now because you are the perfect mix of fun and carefree. You are a friend to everyone and you have a smile on your face most of the time. You are good natured and helpful and obedient and such a good daughter.

Rose is having a fun season with lots of her same team from last year! Ellie and Gentry, Cait, Lila, Amelia, Clare, Gwen and they’ve added a few more. She got a GOAL in the first game of the season!!! and she is still the queen of shielding! and the queen of not being able to catch her breath.

BYU Womens SOCCER

Cali and her team got to be the ball girls at the BYU soccer game. Rose and I decided to go and watch her and watch the game. We sat with Matt and Jamie and Ellie and had a blast. Cali was right at midfield and had to stay focused the whole time. It was a BYU whooping.

Rose and I chilled out at the pond! We grabbed drinks before we went and soaked in the sun. We found a nice spot to set up. Then Rose paddled around in the kayak while I got my raft blown up. We swam together and jumped off the dock together.

I let Rose pull me around on my floatie. We ate sun flower seeds and chatted about how much we love swimming and playing and we wish the other kids could come here with us.

I had to pull Rose out of the water after a few hours so we could go home and get back to reality. She was so fun to be with and we had a great adventure.

Descendants III Party

The New Descendants movie came out on August 2nd! Ben and I were gone so Kelsey came down to party with the kids! The girls made Kelsey a Decsendants Birthday Cake!! And they decorated downstairs and had movie quotes all over. They also had all of the Descendants Barbie’s out to play with. The Hancocks came over for the movie and they had a BLAST. The next day Kelsey stayed until we got home and went swimming with them.

Learn a New Dance

This summer we have a list of activities that the kids can do to earn money. They have to get their reading and piano and chores done and then if they want to do some of the activities they can earn about .20 cents per activity. And they can only earn up to their age per week in Dollars. So far it has been quite FUN! I have had to let Benji and Cali know that these are EXTRAS and they don’t have to do their maximum amount each day.
