I walk Tiago to school almost every morning 🙂 He’s always racing me to stop signs and makes everything a competition and reminds me not to step on lines or shadows. He’s a happy dude in the mornings!
We also race to get our homework done first before school. I do portuguese and he does his Waterford. He likes to surprise me and get his teeth brushed, hair combed and shoes on without me noticing!!! LOVE IT.
I had a birthday!! I opened presents early before the kids went to school! And then I got started on my puzzle
I puzzled ALL DAY. Abbie and Erica came in the morning and helped me and kept me company. Michelle and Kristin and Holly came to help and provide entertainment! Abbie and Kristin brought lunch and treats and dark drinks for all! Amanda dropped by with a Kringle! And Melinda with Crumbl. The kids all helped afterschool.
I did have to stop to coach soccer practice from 5-6. Ben brought balloons and cupcakes for the team! I received phone calls from family and loved the Facebook messages and Groupme’s throughout the day!
Then I kept puzzling while Ben made dinner. We took another break to blow out some candles and eat cake and ice cream! LaNell came to help me!
And I finished the puzzle just before midnight!
It was such a fun day with family and friends. I really enjoy doing my puzzle surrounded by my people and not having to worry about my daily responsibilities. Happy Birthday to ME!
I got to play on the Hancocks new court. Erica whooped me but it was so fun.
We hit the murdock trail after school one day! I rollerbladed while these two road their bikes. They did great but we didn’t get very far because they wanted to stop and explore everything!
We had a great ride and found lots of painted rocks and Tiago and Emily loved it. We have been helping pick Emily up some of the days since her mom got in the car accident. These two even play before school sometimes 🙂
When the kids go to school – the moms go to the mountains! We had just enough time to drive, hike, and hurry home! The FALL COLORS were amazing. Thanks to Erica for making me get out there. 9/18/2020
Running out of gas is one of my worst fears.
I love when I get in the car and have 0 miles to empty! not
And I’m not near a gas station.
I did make it to the station this time!
That made me happy.

6th Grade – first time with a boy teacher. Has lots of friends in class. Math is the only hard part so far:
4th grade with a fun teacher. So happy to be back in the game, hanging with friends and learning all the things:
3rd grade with Long = same teacher as Benji and Rose. New self proclaimed hair style and feeling like a pretty big kid on campus:
1st grader – up early and gone all day. She wants to ride her bike and do everything a little differently. Not excited to read but excited to play hard and do what the teacher asks.
These guys walk to school at 7:45, start at 8:00 and get out at 1:15. It’s so nice that they can go and come back without me!

We all got to go help Shannon prepare her classroom! Benji and Packer were so awesome to watch all the kids all day!! We had a lot of fun WORKING: coloring, labeling, putting together baskets and pencil boxes, laminating and more coloring:
Lunch Break – we grabbed Zupas and In and Out and met back at the school
Then we took 2 more hours and finished up!
Our anni was on a Sunday and we spent the day and the days surrounding it with Rick and fam so it was low key but WE STILL LOVE EACH OTHER 🙂 In fact, we get better and better with time. We really have grown together and life is great!
I was fine with the simpleness but Ben couldn’t let it be simple (winking face) I got flowers later that week and a board game that I’ve been wanting! and then a few weeks later I got some nice ear buds!
