    Sleep Training

Tiago is in major need of sleep training… Hawaii ruined any sleep pattern we had and then knowing we’d be in CA for a week… so the first week of January I spent trying to teach Tiago to sleep in his bed and not with mom. He learned pretty quickly! not perfectly yet but he’s good to go.

Millie and Ray are being kicked out also… Millie is addicited to her sippy so she pees through her diaper at night and comes in my bed when that happens. February is dedicated to getting Millie down to a small drink before bed – not 5 sippy cups full of milk! Ray seems to have cured himself from the 3am wandering into moms room – fingers crossed – maybe the new bunk bed is helping there.

Put the phone away!! What are my worries for my current gen. and the future generation?? Be the example. Be frank with standards and expectations.

    Invite people into our home!

Christ always turned outward and served and helped others!

    No throw away callings. Serve.

Be prepared. Make and keep covenants. Close umbrella so you can receive blessings. You are LOVED. Close your umbrella! Don’t watch football- receive blessings. Don’t shop on Sunday. More commandments followed… More blessings can rain down from heaven and be received. Little things are the umbrella that we block the blessings with.

Pres. Miles – Spiritually Fit: 1. pray fervently. 2. Consume the scriptures daily and the conference talks. 3. Temple worthy and attending! 4. Service and kindness.
Family, friends, faith are most important!
Temple president Smith: hard work! Give kid’s more chores!!

    D&C 10:5 pray always

Obedience- blessings. Exact obedience- miracles! Progression of gospel.

Kelsey Post Mission: Power of faith. Power of Holy Ghost. Power of atonement. Power of companionship.

Forgiveness is a gift we give ourselves!

John 9:1-5 who has sinned? Parent or son? Neither! Sometimes our trials are here to proclaim the power and love of God. Not fair or unfair. It’s our chance to learn, grow, and prove ourselves.

Your future is as bright as your faith!

    Elevate sabbath observance.

    Family dinner time. No phones.

If it’s not ok to do then it is not OK to watch!

Are we using the hymns enough in our homes and lives?!
