We went to Lagoon! We had never been as a family, some of us like me, had never ever been! IT WAS SOOO FUN! We ran from ride to ride and played HARD all day long: Millie brought her quarters and we bought water whenever we needed it.
We were there from open to close! We didn’t do the water park but we did get wet on the water rides. After Lagoon closed we headed to a restaurant and got burgers and ate so much food!

Millie and Tiago had friends over for a late night! They went swimming and played in the yard and had SO MUCH ENERGY!
Abbie and Michelle and Kristin stopped by too 🙂
And then on Friday I took the kids to the AF pool:
Tiago played lots of soccer in the storm cup. He had 2 games Wednesday and 1 Friday. His little legs got tired and his team has a lot to learn but he is LOVING the game!
The Young Men left for Kings Peak on Wednesday August 10th! They drove down and hiked in to the lakeside camping spot! Then on Thursday they had a chill recovery day. On Friday they summited to the top of the mountain and back to camp. Then Saturday they packed back out to the cars and came home. Ben and Benji and Packer all did it. They made it and they thrived and they had HARD times and good times and everyone came home stronger!
It’s always a little off for me to post on these trips that I don’t go on. EVERYONE said this was amazing and a trip to remember. It was NOT much fun – it was hard and it was rewarding!

Family home evening at Pete’s: we watched an amazing Lightning storm! and we talked about our trials and how Emily and Rick and Amanda have all been able to turn to God and find strength and power to overcome.

Ben planned a fun day for us! We went and floated the Provo river! It was so much fun. We laughed and laughed and I just loved being there with Ben trying to stay hooked together and trying not to get too splashed 😉
After the river we dried off and went to lunch. And then we had to stop in at home for a soccer practice. We went out later that night to shop and we were just too full for dinner still so we passed on that and ended up over at Falabella’s where all of the family was scanning pictures and hanging out with Rick and Jen!
I love this life that we have made.
Church is always the right place to be! And dinner with the Hancock’s and borrowing all of Than’s backpacking gear. Then later that evening Pete and Amanda and Julia, Sam and Christian came to show us the new jeep!
Lambeau: He tried to burry his bone! And he and Ben are always wrestling and jumping and playing!
It’s that time of year! Udine and Mia and Diego and Luca came and Kelsey and Heidi came!
