Joel and Megan are in town again. They had a wedding adn we watched the kids 🙂 I let the kids get out of school early and Millie and Tiago just entertained them all day. The big kids played when they got home too. We sure miss the guys and all the play days!
I spent some of the day helping Abbie with her storage room. Kristin was there too. We had fun working together.
We talked to Benji on Pday! He is on the mission. He is in the MTC. He has a companion – Elder Drussel. He is in a district. It’s all happening.
Cascadia has been the new game of choice. LaNell showed it to me and we got it for Ben’s birthday! And we got a new bedspread and bench for our bedroom!
Tiago and Ray in Orem – Michael and Ryan watched too – and Packer is off at a tournament.
Friday morning womens basketball with these 2! We had fun at the game watching Shannons girlfriend coach. After the game Michael went to Genevieve’s and Shannon and I went to lunch with al lof her friends. Coach and assistant coach and wife and the ref’s ex and…. then I hurried home to be mom.
HE MADE IT
HAIRCUT! I see those eyes and brows! Michael came to play for a day! And go to a BYU football game.
Benji’s spots! Empty spots. Reminders of him. I hope he gets to Mexico safely! Later that night the youth all went to the Orem Temple Open House! And then we stopped by to tell Lalo goodbye – he goes to Provo MTC tomorrow.

We got to the airport at 5am. We all went in and gave our last hugs and goodbye’s. He is off to the Mexico MTC!!

We sent him off and then waited on the other end for him to get through security. Good Luck Elder. Be safe. Have Fun. Be friendly. Be kind to everyone. Share your love. Share your testimony. Be ready for hard. Be ready to work. Remember to pray…. he took a piece of our hearts with him.

And then we all went home and back to school and work and tried to pretend that it was all good!
On Monday Benji and I did some last minute shopping for a sweater and a ukulele. Haystacks for dinner and Pete and Michelle’s families and grandma and grandpa stopped by to say goodbye!
