    COACHing

SO here is our set up. Ben is coaching 4 teams. Benji on Mondays 4:30-6:00, Rose on Tuesdays 4:30-5:30, Millie on Wednesdays 4:30-5:30, Ray on Thursdays 4:30-5:30. I go over with the kids and the equipment at 4:15 and get set up and Ben gets there at 4:30 to coach. It’s been hot and busy but kind of fun too. Sometimes the kids like to go to each others practices. We all like to go to Millie’s practice.

I thought I’d maybe want to coach Millie’s team BUT I’m just not feeling it. I’m kind of warn out with little kids by the afternoon and I kind of see how good Ben is at it – He is a natural and he has a million and 2 games in his back pocket to use as needed. He really is the best . Especially with these younger teams. So I am doing my part with setup and getting Cali to her practices and putting dinner on the table and letting Ben continue to ben THE COACH.

NFL Football is back in session and we are having fun supporting our team. The kids are all finding what shirts and jerseys they can and the note Packer left was just so good for the parents souls 🙂

    Keep it up PACKERS!

    Bike Riding

Millie has been out practicing her bike every day of September. She has gotten pretty good at it and has even mastered the driveway. She really just took off on labor day. I didn’t have to run with her or watch her fall – she was READY.

Her ultimate goal is riding her bike to school but I am not a fan of that so we’ll see if I cna make her forget 🙂

Tiago is getting better at the training wheels and loves to be out trying to keep up with the big kids.

    1st Day of Preschool

Finding 3 things that describe Tiago and then we did lots of pre – preschool posing! Tiago was full of poses and funny faces. He was excited to go and completely comfortable. It is the same house that we took Millie to all last year and it is his primary teachers so it was no biggie for this guy.

It was fun to see him be a big kid and he was all smiles when I picked him up. Now I need to plan some amazing 2 hour breaks that I’ll be getting 3 times a week!

    Timpooneke Camping

On Sunday after church we drove the 33 minutes back up to the campground and hung out with our peops again! Joel and Megan made dinner and we just chilled out!

On Monday morning we had a breakfast of F Toast provided by Kelsey and then we packed up camp. We got to watch 2 moose down in the stream for a morning drink!

After packing most of our stuff up the camp hosts came to let us know that during the night people wanting to hike to the top of Timp had parked and blocked the road so we wouldn’t be able to leave until they got the cars moved! That gave us time for another game of Rook while the kids did some Parckour in the river and some Sardines hide and go seek. We had tons of fun with Kelsey adn Joel and Megan and the little kiddos.

We came home exhausted and contented. We cleaned up the camp stuff and chilled out and let Benji and Ben go do soccer practice. While up camping everyone was riding Tiago’s balance bike and Millie caught the biking bug. It took all of my mothering power to get off the couch and help her get a bike out and learn to ride! She took right off!!

    Timpooneke Glamping

Only glamping because we went up Saturday but we came home and slept in our beds and went to church on Sunday!

The river ran through the back of the campground so Saturday afternoon we played in the FREEZING cold water and then played some games and chilled with Shannon, Tommi, Kelsey, Shae, Ty, Joel, Megan, Gus, Dag, Mae and Jan and Von.

We brought dinner for Saturday night. I precooked stuff for Tin Foil Dinners and then let everyone create their own and warm it up on the fire. We also roasted corn on the fire, yum. Megan brought ginormous Mallows that my kids were loving!

After dinner we had a MOOSE come in our camp! He stood by the tent and ate the tree branches for 20 minutes and then he wandered over to the restroom area and eventually made his way out of camp. It was neat to be that close and watch him. We all jumped under the tables when he started moving towards us. Some of the kids were scared but by the end they thought it was neat.

We enjoyed a nice campfire and then went home around 10-pm. Ben needed to conduct at church so it was good to get home for that.

    BYU Womens SOCCER

Cali and her team got to be the ball girls at the BYU soccer game. Rose and I decided to go and watch her and watch the game. We sat with Matt and Jamie and Ellie and had a blast. Cali was right at midfield and had to stay focused the whole time. It was a BYU whooping.
