Packer went to the Jordan River Temple with the Deacons Quorum! HE LOVED IT. He came back so happy and excited and begging to go back – like tomorrow – can we? March 21 was his first time doing baptisms and confirmations in the Temple.

    Spring is in the Air

It felt so nice to have some sunny days! We played outside so much. Front yard. Back yard. Bikes and scooters. Neighborhood kids everywhere, cousins in and out, and we invited over some new friends! The kids were so happy to be able to play outside in the fresh air. We even spent an hour at Discovery park!

Millie was so excited to open her Froot by the Foot and find 2 of them in the one wrapper – BEST DAY EVER!

And they just had to put the bow on Becker! By the time I got the camera out he was having none of that.

    Skate Night

Skate Night! All of the kids had skates and scooters and switched back and forth between both. Tiago cruised around on his scooter. Millie tried skating but was much better off scooting. Ray skated and then got a scooter so he could go with Ryder and Max. All 3 of the youngest spent lots of time in the arcade and playground and trying to sneak into the jump houses. Rose skated with Ellie and Cali skated with Anna and they all had lots of people from school that they knew. I skated and helped everyone else put on their skates. (The others opted to stay home and chill out this time.)

    St. Patty’s – A Day to Remember!

After eating our Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner we were cleaning up the kitchen and Ben dared one of the kids to eat a big piece of fat from the meat. Millie was the bravest and said she would do it. She took 4 big bites and had it all in her mouth but she couldn’t swallow the last bite and then started coughing and then ran to the garbage to throw up! It was so gross that Benji joined in with a Big sympathy barf and all of us were DYING of LAugHtEr. It was a perfect mixture of gross and funny and unbelievable. A St. Pattys that we won’t forget!

We’ve spent some of our time in the hot tub – Best Christmas Gift EVER. We watched Benji get the last of his required merit badges and Alessandro get his Eagle! We took a load of our junk to DI and another load to the Dump – it felt so good to get rid of stuff. We’re still working hard at Scripture study and finding ways to get everyone involved. We had some sunny weather and had reading time out on the LAWN! And the goals are up in the backyard for some friendly soccer!

SOMEDAY is starting to feel closer but the clean house is not as enticing as it used to be. I want to cherish every moment with these kids!
