    Megan’s Christmas Cookies

Joel and Megan invited us over Monday night for dinner and cookie decorating. We had a busy night so I ended up taking some of the kids there with me, picking Cali and Rose up from soccer in the middle of it and sent the 3 older boys to wrestling practice with Ben!

Megan made some delicious veggies for dinner and some rice and chicken! Jana and Cove came over. And Mom and Dad were still in town. It was a smaller group than our usual so it was nice to get some more intimate time in with them.

We decorated Christmas Cookies! So fun watching the little kids make beautiful creations. THANKS MEGAN

My parents came on Saturday afternoon and stayed until Tuesday morning! Michael came with them! We were busy with the 2 big parties but we also had some chill time and some family dinners with all the Utah sibs. I love having time with my parents and am super glad they came and stayed with us.

Johnson Christmas with Annette and kids Michael, Jana, Joel, Shannon, Sean and Kelsey. Aunt Di with Sasha, Bracken, and Kiley. Aunt Carol with Luke, Colby, Jeremy and Alex. EVERYONE that lives anywhere close was here! I love that this family wants to get together.

On Sunday night we had a big Christmas Party for Mom and her sisters and all us kids and us’s kids. We had some good visiting going on and treats and the white elephant! We didn’t get the crocheted masterpiece this time but we did make sure that Aunt Di got it! It’s fun to see this family every once in a while!

We met up with all of the Netty cousins and waited to see Santa. The fish are always a favorite:

Waiting in line is not a favorite:

And then it was our turn to talk to Santa!

And the annual Cousins with Santa – and GRANDMA and GRANDPA!

Then we all went to Carl’s Jr to get some lunch and hang out for hours until we have to leave:

    WE LOVE CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS!!

    Luminaria – Work Party

We got to go to Luminaria at Thanksgiving Point. Salesrabbit paid for us to get in and then they gave food vouchers and had a large tent rented out for all of us to meet in and have cookies and Cidar and Hot Chocolate. We hung out in the tent and stayed warm and tried to remember names, and held the baby and got to know a few more people and tried to win raffle prizes!

We enjoyed walking through the lights before and after and as we searched for the corndogs. Here is the luminaria for those of you who won’t be going ( like our children). The Light the World section that details Christs life was very neat and I personally loved the live reindeer and the gingerbread houses!

It’s always fun when we’re together! (winky face, heart eyes, love, love)

This was at Tom’s house – they made a manger for baby Jesus.

Benji was on the publicity team and made this poster for the 9th Grade Play:

Benji was Tweedle Dum! They did a version with different time era’s and he was a 1950’s spy. Ryan Mitchell was Tweedle Dee. Nathan Boren was the Caterpillar. It was fun to watch Benji perform. He LOVED it and he did such a good job!
