    Cali in Quarantine

Cali is so fun and smiley and loving!

She loves being the big sister and teaching these youngers a few things! She also loves to push the buttons of her big brothers. She likes fashion and worrying about her outfit and her hair and her shoes!

She loves her mom time!! Lucky me. And her Dad time! and she loves singing and dancing and being silly. She has become a really good colorer and likes creating and decorating!

Cali missed going to school and being with all of her friends. She missed Miss Myntti. She missed being with the girls and doing hope of america and dance festival and her summer week at Clear Creek and her first Girls Camp! She had lots of group friend and cousin chats to help her get through!

Cali is very goal oriented and motivated. She found time to make her lists and set her goals and get some good habits in her life. She is REALLY hoping to go back to real school in the fall!

    Rose in Quarantine

Rose did great with online school! She would get up and get going. Sometimes she’d need my help with math or Bare Book ideas but mostly she just got things done. She really missed class with Mrs. Long. She missed seeing her friends. She missed doing the dance festival and the class fieldtrips. After getting her work done she would get on and chat with cousins and friends like Ellie and Gentry and Zoe.

She played with Cali a ton and rode her bike and played lots of card games.

Rose is easy to be around and always fun to play with. She loves to help in the kitchen. She makes us smile and she plays with all ages in our family. She and Mia have become pretty good friends too. She LOVES to color and draw and sing and dance!

This girl survived quarantine with a smile on her face and LOTS OF BOOKS read. She was reading a ton for battle of the books and then she was studying for the Brain Brawl and she had her Manila Magic songs and her primary chorister had her working on some primary songs. And IT ALL got cancelled. What a crazy time!

    Raymond in Quarantine

This 8 year old got baptized right before Quarantine! He missed going to school and being with friends. He had LOTS of online work everyday. Miss Read kept him very busy.

His favorite thing to do is follow Benji and Packer and Luca around. He likes to Pokemon Go and jump on the tramp and he also got a bit of bike riding in during these days of not going anywhere and not having friends over.

Ray really kicked it in to gear with his reading. He reads A LOT at bedtime and is starting to enjoy bigger books and different types of books.

He is still a quiet talker but he is getting less quiet. He likes to tease all of his siblings. He likes to win at everything he does. He likes to be the cool funny guy when he can. And with quarantine lifting a bit he’s been brave enough to hang with Noah a bit!

    Millie in Quarantine

This 6 Year OLD loved getting her pictures taken during quarantine!

And she LOVED riding her bike! She spent SOO many hours riding in the culdesac. Practicing on the bigger bike. Up and down the driveways and curbs!!

Millie did not love the school part of quarantine. She really did not like LEXIA! I had to sit with her and help her focus. That is not her strong point BUT she did love online chats and seeing Mrs Larson. She liked only having a little bit of work and then all day to play. And she LOVED that we could sleep in and then make real breakfast cause she does not like cereal.

Those eyes. This Smile. She is just a Sassy Girl. And she learned to climb trees. If she saw a tree she would try to climb it. And she finally convinced me to let her ride her bike to the Stake Center or the Barn or to Benson’s house! SO BIG! Still the boss around here and a ball of Sass.

Millie goes 100% all of the time. She always has a plan in mind: inviting a friend over, doing a lemonade stand, making a fort, playing barbies, listening to music. Quarantine was good to this one!

This is our just turned 5 year old – NUTCRACKER! His Preschool year was cut short and he really missed Mrs Janet and his classmates but he will tell you how proud he is to have never gotten a time out! Yo yeah!

Luckily his teacher dropped off packets of homework and fun projects every week! And he had his online Rusty and Rosie to do! His end of the year assessment said that he is at a 1st grade level with his reading!

This kid learned to ride his bike during quarantine! He just took off! and he spent lots of time riding and practicing and following Millie or Emily.

He is the family joker! always tring to be silly and tease his siblings and tries to find something funny to say! And this tank is his new favorite shirt. If he even wears a shirt.

Quarantine is pretty much over now. Tiago survived it. He loved having us all home and lots of people to follow around and play games with.
