We had to quarantine until the end of the month – Monday, November 30th.

Can your son make a Rubix Cube? Mine can! Nice work Packer.

    This years Christmas CD:

And pictures for our Christmas card:

by the end we were maybe starting to get on each others nerves but mostly we just had a good quarantine and Thanksgiving. I really loved not having a school schedule and Sleeping in. We had fun with the kids and got a lot done around the house. UNtil next time Corona.

    Thankful Friday

OR for us – Decorate the house and start celebrating the Christmas season!

Ben went Friday morning and picked our tree since the rest of us were finishing our 10-14 days of quarantine. The magical part was that he bought a new tree stand and the tree was already predrilled for the stand so… he brought it in and we put it in the stand and boom. done. beauty. It was a little crooked all season but so worth the no effort.

We cleaned and then decorated and got the house all Christmas-sy. Putting the ornaments on the tree is always the best. There are so many memories in the ornaments!

Then we snuggled under the tree and watched all of our favorite Christmas movies! We took a Polar Express hot chocolate break and all fell asleep in the family room. We woke up the next morning and kept watching 🙂

    Thanksgiving 2020

We were still stuck at home for Thanksgiving so we cancelled all of our plans and told the Eggers not to come. We were a little bummed not to spend the time with extended family. It was definitely different than all other Thanksgivings BUT we had a great day!

Ben taught the kids how to make some CANDY TURKEYS:

Ben also made an entire DELICIOUS turkey dinner! (I helped a tiny bit.) Turkey, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, jello, devilled eggs, veggie tray… and Kristin brought us Rolls!

AND YES – we still had like 10 pies! And they were delicious. We were lucky enough to have LaNell come over for the day – since we passed the Covid to her and she was quarantined from all of her family. Sorry Lan!

So Thankful for a weekend to give THANKS. We are so blessed.

    Quarantine

Our quarantine wasn’t too bad. Ben was wiped at first and I didn’t feel much at first. LaNell was over the night that Ben started feeling sick and we had been using the massage gun so… I wasn’t sure if I had covid muscle aches or a little achy from doing the massager. Still not sure! The kids had to do school from home for a week and then we had Thanksgiving break during our quarantine. Luckily these kids are good friends and they had fun playing together. And we could still log in to do church.

I was able to get the garage organized and load the shed with all of its new belongings! We added a garage shelf and moved out all of the bikes. I even tackled the cold storage and got rid of a few things there and added storage! It was a good productive week for me (even did a puzzle). I did CRASH at some point and spend some time with headaches. Ben and I also got a little light headed at times when pushing ourselves a little – (Hanging the swimming pool for the winter, and playing football with the kids) We were very productive at home since we couldn’t go ANYWHERE else!

    President Nelsons Gratitude Challenge

November 20, 2020 Our prophet President Nelson said that he had a message to share with all of us. So he went on YouTube and shared! It was simple and powerful and uplifting. It helped me focus on all that I am blessed with and it made social media AMAZING.
