Our Super Bowl Party

We stayed home for the Super Bowl and had our own little family party. Here are some of the highlights…

I opened a new jar of Peanut Butter and…

It was empty – the sides are coated and it looks full from the outside but it is empty. How does that happen? Having worked at the Oroville Cannery I have a few guesses but… very random. Is it worth returning and getting a full jar???

I made chicken quesadillas for dinner/snack and when I brought dinner down and handed Packer his BIG water jug the lid popped off and the water drenched him. He gave me the saddest “mom – why did you do that” look. He was soaked, the floor was soaked, but it was pretty funny in the end.

I made Muddy Buddy Chex Mix – One of my favorites. The boys loved it. This won’t be helping my dieting but…. I love that stuff.

And we all enjoyed the HD quality on the new TV. It felt like we were at the game! It was a great football game. I didn’t care who won but it was a thriller and a good end to my football obsession this year ( refer to Sept. 23rd post).

    1. That is so wierd about the Peanut Butter. I need your reciepe for the muddy buddy stuff. I ‘ve had it before but don’t know how to make it.

    2. Take it back, but don’t get a new one…you know, with the salmonella! 😉
Funny, we made muddy buddies too! I justified it b/c it was the only unhealthy thing we had. They are just so good!
