We ran out of milk today so… we busted out the “Powdered Milk”. This was our first time ever doing this so we called it “magic milk” and Packer was fine with that but Benji did not like it. His Father insisted that he drink it all. Halfway through he tells us, “This tastes like white cat fur.” sorry Benji, I kind of agree 🙂
Ben and the boys made dinner tonight. We headed out back for a back yard campout!! Hot dogs over the fire and I loved it.

I also loved that Benji told me out of the blue, “I love you Mom.” That is fun to hear without any coaxing. He also called me out when I thanked him for the puzzle that he got me and he said, “and you need to say thanks for the flowers and the card.” !! So I did. Ben and I both got to talk to our Mothers this afternoon and let them know how much we love and appreciate them. Other people might post the same thing but we really have the best Moms ever! 🙂  So that was my perfect mothers day – I did my puzzle all afternoon while the rest of the family took naps.

Since we are on a funny things Benji said today kick – he also blessed in his prayer, “thankful that we are still on this Earth.” We’re not too sure where that one came from.
I need to post my not so wonderful cakes since I boasted about my Mickey Mouse cake. Ben requested Mike Tysons Punch Out cake – the occasion called for cupcakes so this was the best that I could do.
We ate cupcakes at the soccer game. I scored 2 goals! One of them Sam Hancock was very unselfish and gave to me because girl points count double in this league, thanks Sam. And the other was because Ben gave me a pep talk on the way over about how long it had been since I had scored in this league so I made one for him,  but they were both low hard corner shots and It feels good to be getting back in shape again.
 And for the first time ever Ben and I went to a movie again last night so both Friday and Saturday Nights at the theater – that was fun – Star Trek is also a good movie.
Oh Yeah – Ben took this picture of me because I really wanted Smores but we only had mini mallows so…  You make do with what you have. And they were also yummy.
