    Monday April 1st – – –

So Recap: we had family start coming on Monday and everyone was here by Friday and Joel got married on Saturday and then Sunday was EASTER! and Monday morning we loaded the five kids in the car, said goodbye to the remaining family members and drove to DISNEYLAND!

The kids have been wanting to go for years. I have been wanting to wait until the kids are old enough to remember going. Erica and Than Hancock have been trying to get us to go for years. Ben decided all the stars had aligned and we were off to Disneyland!

We have been planning and talking for a few months and Ben kept telling the kids that it was an April Fool’s joke. We said we were going but on April 1st we wouldn’t really get in the car and go because it was all a big trick. The kids were a little worried even as we piled into the car with their bags packed. So Cute.

I admit that I was a little nervous to go with the Hancock’s because they are crazy. I mean, they only have one speed and it is pedal to the medal. We have a lot of little kids (so do they) but I didn’t know how well we would keep up. And we were first timers and our stroller was manufactured in the 90’s and my kids are wimpy and… I will also admit in retrospect that going with the Hancock’s was the BEST way to go. They guided and ran and stood in line, shared treats, spoiled my kids, and tended kids and we had a blast. We were honestly lost on the first day when we walked in without them. I couldn’t tell a store from a ride. Anyway…

The kids did well on the 10 hour drive. We stayed at the Hilton and swam in the pool when we got there. We made a quick walmart run for milk and snacks and went to bed ready to start our Disney Adventure.

So we had family start coming on Monday and everyone was here by Friday and Joel got married on Saturday and then Sunday was EASTER! It snuck up on all of us but we made the most of it. We went to church and had a family dinner. We made time for an egg hunt the Friday before and enjoyed the day with family.

    Joel and Megan – March 30, 2013

Joel is married. She is wonderful. He is happy.

The wedding was Saturday the 30th! The Sealing was at 3pm and dinner at 7pm. We spent the morning eating breakfast and getting beautiful. After the ceremony we did pictures and ice cream. The dinner was in Cedar Hills with about 250 family and friends. Lots of our extended family and cousins were there and all of the Robertson crew. It was lots of fun to see everyone and celebrate Joel getting married. We are so happy for him and excited to have Megan in our family. It was so fun to be together with the whole family and to have everyone come stay with us here in Utah County.

I have a 31 year old brother that is obsessed with GI Joe. Josh has become an avid Joe colector he has almost EVERY figure! He has MOST vehicles. He has an entire room dedicated to his collection. Anyway. When HE realized that we would all be together when the new GI Joe movie was coming out he declared dress up and movie just like we did back in 2009: http://bnetty.com/Jana/?p=1632. For some reason we all agreed to play halloween in March!

Hopefully Josh will make a nice poster for us like last time but this will have to do for now. Everyone went to the movie on Friday night after dinner with Joel and Megan and her family. Joel was sick. I stayed home to help babysit and beat my parents in Nertz.

    Yo Joe!
